Malibu... the most beautiful 23 miles of coastline in the United States.  Located just west of the City of Los Angeles and east of Ventura County, Malibu is famous for its warm and sandy beaches.  Rooted with history dating back to the Chumash, the expedition of Juan Cabrillo in 1542 and Captain Juan Bautista de Anza in 1776, the Ridge Family and the Adamson Family...and then the Battle for the Malibu and the introduction of the Pacific Railroad, to the paving of the Pacific Coast Hwy, the development of La Costa (the first major real estate acquired for $6 Million dollars in 1928)... the 1930's and 40's invasion of Hollywood and it's biggest stars, the formation of the Colony, the first surfers in California, up to the most recent re-opening of the Adamson House.  Malibu is anything but dull and is enriched with gorgeous scenery, ideal weather and friendly people.
